PTFE product processing technology

1, extrusion molding

3, PTFE products processing, should pay attention to the speed of the machine.

Problems that occur easily when PTFE products are processed

1, PTFE products deformation

PTFE products creep resistance is poor, the mechanical and bearing capacity is poor, the linear expansion coefficient is large, the thermal conductivity is poor, when the traction speed is not smooth/machine heating temperature shaking/screw movement speed is not smooth/porous plate filter blocking situation, PTFE products are prone to deformation, especially reflected in the diameter of PTFE special-shaped parts change greatly.

2, PTFE products appearance problems

① The appearance of PTFE products is rough and dull. This is because when PTFE products are processed, the heating temperature of the material is low and the plasticization of the material is uneven; The uneven plasticization of the material is caused by more impurities when the filter is used.

② There are bubbles or silver wires on the surface of PTFE products, which may be because there are problems with the material treatment during the processing and production of PTFE products, such as the high water content of the material and the high temperature of the heating machine heating cylinder.

The roundness of PTFE products is not uniform, possibly because of fluctuations in the temperature of the molding die. When the melting temperature of PTFE products extrusion molding is unstable, the equipment screw wear is serious, resulting in confusion of extrusion melting pressure of PTFE special-shaped parts, which leads to uneven roundness of PTFE products.

3, PTFE products extrusion cut
